About Formlabs
Founded in 2011 by three MIT students, Formlabs develops, manufactures and sells professional desktop 3D printers for stereolithography (SLA) and selective laser sintering (SLS). The portfolio includes the SLA printers Form Studio 1, Form 4, Form 4B (Medical), Form 4L and Form 4BL as well as the SLS printers Fuse 1+ and Fuse X1, complemented by post-processing systems (Form Wash, Form Cure, Fuse Sift, Fuse Blast) and the PreForm software. More than 45 proprietary materials – from general-purpose and Tough resins to biocompatible BioMed resins, silicone and elastomeric resins, and nylon powders and ceramics – cover applications such as rapid prototyping, rapid tooling, end-use part production, investment casting, and dental and medical applications. With over 130,000 printers sold, more than 500 million printed parts and over 750 employees at eight global locations, Formlabs is one of the leading providers of professional 3D printing solutions. The European headquarters of Formlabs GmbH is located in Berlin. Customers include Ford, Tesla, Eaton, Brose, Radio Flyer and MOSOLF.
