About formoplast
For more than half a century, formoplast Kunststofftechnik GmbH has been a manufacturer of plastic tanks for the storage of chemicals. The company produces storage tanks from polyethylene (PE-HD, PE100) and polypropylene (PP-H) using winding technology, which—compared to plate containers—enables stress-free cylinder production. The tanks are manufactured in accordance with building authority approval and the requirements of the German Water Resources Act (WHG) for the storage of water-hazardous media such as acids and alkalis; upon request, manufacturing and testing are carried out in accordance with EN 12573. The portfolio includes double-wall tanks with vacuum safety monitoring, flat-bottom tanks with a catch basin, large tanks from 50 m³, working, stirring and conical tanks, as well as single- and double-wall underground tanks. In addition, formoplast offers solutions for brine production in winter maintenance services, including the production, storage and filling of 20–22% NaCl solution, manually or fully automatic. The plastic tanks are used, among other things, in dairies, the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry, and are suitable for HBV and LAU systems. All tanks are wound and manufactured in Germany.
