Formteilbau Schmitt GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures pre-fabricated molded parts for drywall construction and interior finishing with Europe-wide patented, integrated profiles. The product range includes ProTeck L- and U-angles with edge protection profiles for executing window and door reveals as well as cladding columns and wall projections, PlanoFlex movement joint molded parts for interior corners from 1–180°, and PlateFix reveal elements with an integrated PVC insert profile. Production is millimeter-precise and pre-fabricated from gypsum boards (GKB/GKBI), fire protection boards (GKF/GKFI), gypsum fiber boards (GF) and solid construction boards; two-layer angles are glued and clamped and achieve fire resistance ratings F 30 to F 90. Production takes place exclusively in the company's own facility in Karsbach in Lower Franconia on modern equipment. The pre-fabricated elements enable simple, fast and economical installation with clean edge finishing and Q3 quality. The mid-sized company supplies customers in several European countries and communicates in German, English and Finnish.
