About Fornax Technologies
Fornax Technologies AG is a partner for laboratory automation and project management based on professionally refurbished, formerly used laboratory instruments. The company, based in Basel, supports laboratories from the selection of refurbished instruments (liquid handling robots, ELISA photometers, microplate washers, SPE workstations) through application support and testkit programming to maintenance, repair and individual laboratory automation. The refurbishment is carried out according to ISO-9001-certified processes, and the instruments are offered with warranty (RETEC). Further services include rental of laboratory instruments, GUI programming, design of customer-specific automation solutions, relocations, deinstallation and decommissioning, as well as sample archiving for biobanks using ultra-low-temperature freezers. The team, consisting of design engineers, technicians and application specialists, serves customers in clinical diagnostics, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, as well as analytical laboratories in Switzerland and the EU.
