FORSTER INDIVIDUAL BATTERIES develops and manufactures lithium batteries based on safe LiFePO4 technology as well as lithium-polymer rechargeable batteries at its site in Pliening near Munich, as fully equivalent replacements for lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries. The portfolio comprises supply, starter, traction and high-load batteries in the Premium, Smart Power and Premium Starter series, some with a 500A Bluetooth measuring shunt and app control. The batteries feature a modular design with few, large cell rows (Big Power Prismatic Cells) and in-house developed BMS, shunt and cell technology; the batteries have been password-protected since 2016. Fields of application are motorhomes and caravans, cars and motorcycles, trucks and Unimog, fishing and marine, solar energy storage as well as motorsport – customers such as Toyota Gazoo Racing and BMW Motorsport use the products. Distribution is exclusively via specialist retailers and workshops, complemented by warranty processing, repair service and an installation partner network.

The modular design with few, large cells enables easy testing and repair even after the warranty period has expired; the integrated BMS systems provide overload, deep-discharge, overvoltage and temperature protection. Product warranties of 2, 3, 5 up to 8 years accompany the series.
