About FORTEC Integrated
FORTEC Integrated GmbH (formerly Distec GmbH), headquartered in Germering near Munich with a plant in Hörselberg-Hainich, is a provider of display technology and embedded computing. The company develops and manufactures custom industrial monitors for machine control, medical technology, fire protection, digital signage and transportation, as well as ARM-based TFT controllers, SBCs and media players. Its core competence is VacuBond Optical Bonding in a cleanroom: TFT displays up to 32 inches are bonded with touchscreens and/or protective glass, including Free-Air-Exclusion Bonding for explosion-protected areas. In addition to in-house manufacturing, FORTEC Integrated acts as a distributor of TFT displays, touchscreens and embedded boards and offers services such as enclosure design, software/firmware development, CE certification and obsolescence management from a single source. For testing, displays are analysed using spectroradiometers (DICOM calibration), 4K/3D microscopy and surface measurement. On the market since 1993, the company has been part of the FORTEC Group since 2016, with locations in seven countries.
