About forteq
forteq is a global development partner and manufacturer of precision plastic components, assemblies and complete systems with a focus on automotive. The company, with Swiss roots, was founded as an injection moulding specialist for gears and transmissions and today covers the entire value chain: product and process development, prototyping, tool design and mould making, injection moulding, post-moulding operations and assembly. Parts are produced from thermoplastics and thermosets, including high-precision plastic gears, transmission systems, pump and thermal management components as well as drive, brake, steering and chassis systems. A key focus is metal-to-plastic substitution for high-volume applications, increasingly also in the context of powertrain electrification. With over 700 employees, global technology centres in Switzerland and Italy, and production plants in Italy, the UK, the Czech Republic, the USA and China, forteq supplies Tier-1 suppliers in Europe, North America and Asia. The group headquarters with the Global Gear Competence Center is located in Nidau, Switzerland.
