About us
Forthaus Sondermaschinen is a medium-sized company for innovative automation founded in 1990 in Langenberg. The company develops and manufactures custom special-purpose machinery, assembly systems, testing and production systems – from concept and design through manufacturing, control panel construction and software programming to commissioning and on-site service worldwide. The product range includes screwdriving and assembly workstations, assembly and testing systems with handling, camera systems and traceability, bonding and joining systems with contour-related dosing technology, coating equipment as well as singulation systems. In addition, robotics and automation concepts based on robots from ABB, Kuka, Epson, Fanuc, Yaskawa and Universal Robots as well as CNC contract manufacturing of components with complex shapes are offered. 3D design is carried out with Inventor and Siemens NX; control panel construction uses E-Plan P8, Siemens TIA Portal, CODESYS, TwinCAT and Mitsubishi MELSOFT. The main delivery focus is the automotive supply industry; further industries include e-mobility, household appliances, residential, electrical, aerospace technology as well as medical, pharmaceutical and food industries. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015; quality assurance is carried out in-house with 3D coordinate measuring technology.
