About Fortuna Federn
Fortuna Federn GmbH is a manufacturer of machines and systems for spring production, in particular CNC spring coilers and lathe coilers for cold and hot coiling up to a wire diameter of 100 mm. The machine program comprises the series WIM CNC, COM CNC, OBW, LDT, MPK, DTL, HMV and GRM as well as looping machines and spring end grinding machines. In addition to machine building, the company offers machine service, support, on-site installation at the customer and tooling development. Since its founding in 1971, around 1600 machines have reportedly been installed worldwide. In North America, the portfolio is distributed exclusively through the distributor Coiling Equipment LLC. Through its own production company Phoenix, the company cooperates with research institutions on the development of new technologies.
