About Forza Petroleum
Forza Petroleum Limited (formerly Oryx Petroleum) is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company founded in 2010. The company focuses entirely on developing the Hawler license area in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, in which it acquired a 65% interest in 2011. There, Forza Petroleum operates production facilities at the Demir Dagh field with an initial gross (100%) production capacity of 40,000 bbl/d, which were commissioned in 2015. Production comes from the Demir Dagh, Zey Gawra and Banan fields; sales are conducted, among other channels, via the export pipeline from the Hawler license area. The company maintains offices in Vancouver (registered office), Grand-Lancy near Geneva and Erbil. Historically, the focus was on Africa and the Middle East; since 2024, following a going-private transaction by Zeg Oil and Gas Ltd, the company is no longer a reporting issuer.
