About FOSTAG
FOSTAG Formenbau AG, based in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland, develops and manufactures high-performance injection molds for complex and demanding applications. Founded in 1955 as Gebrüder Segmüller, the company supplies customers in over 50 countries with its multi-cavity molds, primarily in the fields of medical, pharmaceutical and diagnostic applications as well as specialty applications such as thin-wall packaging. In addition to planning, design and production of molds, FOSTAG offers its own hot runner systems for challenging materials such as PVC and COC/COP, the InMedio core-centering system, the Angusta needle shut-off system, and co-injection and core-back technologies. The in-house technical center provides injection molding machines up to 6000 kN for mold trials and customer training. All mold plates and mold inserts are manufactured fully interchangeable, with a focus on short cycle times, long tool life and maintenance-friendly operation. FOSTAG manufactures on a production area of 4'000 m² with its own quality assurance; service is available around the clock.
