About Foster Chemicals
Foster Chemicals GmbH is a medium-sized chemical company based in Jüchen that manufactures a broad range of products for surface treatment. The product portfolio includes degreasing and cleaning products for metal strip made of steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metal, neutral derusting and descaling agents, pickling products such as hydrochloric acid cleaners for hot-dip galvanizing, as well as cleaning and disinfection products for the food processing industry. The in-house laboratory develops products specifically to customer specifications under technological and economic aspects; in addition, surface analytics, technical equipment and support by the technical field service are offered. At the Jüchen headquarters, research, development and production for Western and Eastern Europe take place on a fully automated, wastewater-free plant with a volume of 70,000 liters per day. Further production facilities in Europe, the USA and India ensure worldwide availability. Since 1996, spent solvent-containing products have been environmentally friendly reprocessed in an in-house distillation plant.
