Fraikin is a European rental and fleet management group specialized in commercial vehicles, headquartered in Colombes near Paris. Founded in 1944 by Gérard Fraikin, the company offers short-term rental (1–31 days), medium-term rental (1–12 months) and long-term rental (from 12 months) for vehicles ranging from light commercial vehicles under 7.49 t and delivery vehicles to trucks over 16 t, tractor units, trailers, swap bodies and centre-axle trailers. In addition, Fraikin offers fleet management, individual vehicle configuration through its own planning office, consulting and auditing of business activities and fleets, as well as service options. Customers come from transport, logistics, food retail and industry; early reference customers included SNCF, Fruidam and Le Bon Marché. The group is represented in several European countries, including Germany with a branch in Munich, and pursues the strategic core topics of energy transition, mobility and digitalization (Project Focus 24).
