About Francia Mozzarella

Francia Mozzarella GmbH produces cow's milk mozzarella and ricotta in Berlin-Tempelhof using the traditional Italian process, in both organic and conventional quality. The family business traces back to the history of the Francia family, which began in 1935 in the Pontine Plains; the first production facility for mozzarella and ricotta opened in Pontinia in 1966. In addition to its own production, the company imports Buffalo Mozzarella Campana DOP, buffalo ricotta and other Italian specialities weekly from the production facilities in Pontinia and Sonnino. Through a network of wholesalers, products are supplied to restaurants, food retail, specialist wholesalers and commercial processors in Europe and beyond. The Berlin site comprises the head office, production and logistics; products are available in formats from 22 g to 10 kg.
