About Franke Industries
Franke Industrie AG, headquartered in Aarburg (Switzerland), manufactures hot gas path parts, components and assemblies made of heat-resistant superalloys for the Energy (industrial gas turbines), Aerospace & Space and General Industry business segments. Core competencies include forming technology, laser technology (including laser drilling and laser cutting), water jet machining, fusion welding, mechanical machining (cutting) and non-destructive testing. Materials processed include stainless steel, titanium and aluminium alloys as well as rare nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel, Nimonic, Waspaloy, Rene 41 and Haynes alloys, at material thicknesses of 0.25 to 35 mm. The companies of the Franke Industries group include Franke Industrie AG (Aarburg), Franke Industrie GmbH in Ampfing (Germany, formerly Ammatec GmbH, Aerospace) and, since 2022, the Spreitenbach production site (formerly VERWO). The company emerged from a traditional supplier to the Swiss Army and today supplies OEMs such as Pilatus, Rolls-Royce and MTU with the corresponding customer approvals.
