About us
Frankenberg-Metallrecycling GmbH is an owner-managed family business in its third generation, headquartered in Emskirchen in Middle Franconia. The company collects, sorts and processes scrap and old metals so that they can return to the economic cycle as raw materials. Across Europe, the company specialises in the recycling of the metal groups zinc, tin and lead; in addition, it operates a general metal trade in non-ferrous metals and ferrous scrap, the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment and components, as well as disposal concepts for production waste from commercial and industrial businesses. The service portfolio also includes dismantling (among others, kettles bottoms from galvanising plants and machinery) as well as the destruction of reject parts in accordance with VDA using its own small shredder. The certified waste management specialist operates a company site of over 18,000 m², of which 4,000 m² are office, operating and warehouse halls, and has its own vehicle fleet. Material analyses are carried out using a spectrometer under argon and a mobile X-ray fluorescence analysis gun.
