About Gilde Brauerei

The Gilde Brauerei in Hanover looks back on a tradition that began in 1546 with the founding of the brewers' guild in the city and dates back to the first Gilde beer, developed by Cord Broyhan in 1526. At Hildesheimer Straße in Hanover, the brewery brews a range of pilsners, naturally cloudy radlers, seasonal beers such as bock, and specialties such as Lindener Spezial and Ratskeller Premium Pils. In addition to beer production, the offering includes a brewery restaurant, brewery tours and a fan shop with fan merchandise. The brewery maintains a long-standing partnership with Hannover 96 and, since 2022, has been supplying its own small brewery in Charlotte (USA) from Germany. Since 2016, the Gilde Brauerei, as a newly founded GmbH, has been part of a mid-sized brewery group that also includes the Frankfurter Brauhaus, Feldschlößchen Dresden and Brasserie Champigneulles.
