About Frankonia
The Frankonia Group was founded in 1987 in Heideck (Bavaria) and operates as a solution provider for EMC and antenna test laboratories. The company manufactures turnkey absorber chambers (SAC, FAC, GTEM), RF-shielded rooms and EMC test systems for emission and immunity measurements. The value chain includes engineering and design, in-house production of the non-combustible Frankosorb® absorbers (A2 per EN 13501-1, nano thin-layer technology), shielding panels, doors, gates and automation equipment, as well as installation by in-house teams and after-sales service. Approximately 95% of all components are manufactured modularly and pre-fabricated in-house; materials processed include galvanized sheet metal, stainless steel and other metal sheets including noble metal sheets, using complex machining and welding. Customer industries are the electronics, automotive and defense sectors. The group comprises sites in Germany (Heideck, Forchheim), Poland (Dzierżoniów, production), China (Jiashan) and India (Chennai); projects are delivered to more than 80 countries.
