About Egenberger
Franz Egenberger GmbH Milchwerk produces milk replacers for calves, piglets and lambs as well as milk powder in Thierhaupten (Bavaria). Originating from a dairy with milk drying founded in 1899, the company switched to milk powder production in 1963 and began manufacturing milk replacers in 1970. Today, two independent plants with modern mixing units, silo systems and bagging stations blend up to 20,000 t of mixtures per year – up to 100 t per day. In addition to its own products such as Combi 50, Galacto Start and NatureLAC O50, Egenberger operates as a contract mixer/private-label producer according to customer formulas. Raw materials come predominantly from Germany and the EU, GMO-free, palm-oil-free on request. Filling takes place in bulk into silo vehicles (24,000 kg), in 500/1,000 kg big bags or 25 kg sacks; an own vehicle fleet and over 7,000 m² of storage complement the value chain. A laboratory modernized in 2016 tests raw materials and finished products.
