Innovation with Tradition for Life
Franz Hauer GmbH & Co KG has been developing and producing machinery for agriculture, forestry and municipal services since 1962. The product range includes front loaders for tractors from 35 to 280 hp, front hitches, front PTO shafts, work tools such as shovels, grabs and bale cutters, winter equipment such as snow ploughs and spreaders, ballast weights, tool boxes and control units. Production takes place at the main plant in Statzendorf in Lower Austria, between St. Pölten and Krems an der Donau, on a developed site of 16,000 m². Work tools are joined using modern robotic welding systems and protected against corrosion with a high-quality two-component coating followed by hot-air drying. The materials used include sheet steel as well as through-hardened, low-wear high-performance steel with a hardness of approx. 450 HB for scraper bars. The company was founded in 1932 as a forge and today employs 120 people.
