Franz Kunststofftechnik GmbH is a family business founded in Berlin in 1946, now in its third generation, headquartered in Wassenberg/Myhl, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company specializes in the processing of thermoplastic plastics – in particular cast and extruded acrylic glass (PMMA-GS/XT), polycarbonate (PC) and rigid PVC (PVC-U) in the form of sheets, tubes and round rods. From these materials, protective panes for machinery and plant systems, lighting covers, hoods and panes for medical and laboratory technology, hygiene protection screens and many other components are produced. The value chain includes CNC milling (3-, 4- and 5-axis, sheets up to 3650 × 1560 × 250 mm), CNC turning up to Ø 330 mm and 900 mm length, forming and bending, bonding and assembly including hot gas, socket and mirror welding, as well as painting, digital printing and screen printing. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, the pharmaceutical, chemical and medical industries, trade fair construction and the media sector. From Wassenberg, the company supplies customers throughout Germany and Europe.
