High-tech sensor technology from Mainz
Franz Ludwig Gesellschaft für Mess- und Regeltechnik mbH has been developing and producing sensors and measuring systems for moisture and temperature measurement of bulk materials and materials in its manufactory in Mainz-Gonsenheim since 1973. The systems use microwave technology (433 MHz) and continuously record material moisture directly in the running process. The product portfolio includes the FL-WAPP sensor series with wireless data transmission, including variants with interchangeable head, for food applications (stainless steel 1.4404), for ATEX zones 20/22 and for process temperatures up to 130 °C, as well as temperature probes, measuring systems such as the FL-Mikro T2 water dosing computer, and portable measuring devices. Production uses stainless steel (V2A, 1.4404), die-cast aluminium and highly wear-resistant ceramic. In addition to production, the company offers project engineering, process integration, calibration, remote maintenance and worldwide support. Fields of application include the non-metallic minerals, construction materials, glass and ceramics, foundry, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and animal feed industries, as well as power plants.
