About the Franz Morat Group
The Franz Morat Group, headquartered in Eisenbach in the southern Black Forest, develops and manufactures high-precision gears, transmission components, worm gear sets and complete electromechanical drive systems made of metal, plastic or as hybrid components. The group comprises two specialists: Framo Morat for industrial applications and F. Morat for the automotive industry. The manufacturing portfolio includes CNC metal machining (turning/milling), power skiving, precision injection molding of engineering and high-performance plastics, in-house toolmaking, heat treatment by induction hardening, as well as assembly and series production – the entire process chain from engineering through prototyping and validation to serial production takes place in-house. Customers come from the automotive, automation/robotics, intralogistics, medical and rehabilitation technology, renewable energy, agricultural and construction machinery, pump and dosing systems, and defense and security sectors. With around 700 employees, annual revenue of approx. 115 million euros and an export share of over 50 percent, the family-owned company founded in 1912 serves customers worldwide.
