Franz Wagner & Sohn GmbH sells its measuring instruments under the BITHERMA brand and has been manufacturing bimetal thermometers, gas-actuated thermometers, machine and glass thermometers as well as Pt 100 resistance thermometers since 1985. In 2001, the company Dippel & Götze was acquired and production was expanded to include hygrometers and thermo-hygrometers, including for dew-point, surface and duct measurement. The product range also includes Bourdon tube, diaphragm, capsule, differential pressure and U-tube pressure gauges as well as valves and accessories such as shut-off cocks, compression unions and clamp flanges. In the thermowell sector, the company manufactures screw-in, weld-in and flanged thermowells to DIN 43772 in various shapes and materials, also as custom-made products.
