About Frauscher Sensortechnik

Frauscher Sensortechnik develops and manufactures field devices and systems for railway signalling technology. The portfolio includes inductive wheel sensors (including RSR123, RSR180, RSR110, RSR360, RSR310), axle counting systems such as ACS2000 and Frauscher Advanced Counter FAdC®, the FAdP Point object controller system for point control, as well as solutions for data transmission (FAdT) and secure communication (Frauscher Connect) in accordance with EULYNX and System Pillar standards. The wheel sensors are manufactured and assembled with an annual production capacity of 65,000 units; the systems are delivered in preconfigured, tested cabinets and used in applications up to SIL 4. Sensor mounting is carried out without drilling the rail using patented rail claws. In addition, Frauscher offers life-cycle services, condition monitoring, commissioning and installation support as well as training. The systems are used worldwide in mainlines, metro, tram, freight, industrial and mining applications as well as heritage railways; installation projects exist in more than 100 countries.
