FreezyBoy AG, based in Zug, develops and markets the FreezyBoy, a compact refrigeration appliance that freezes organic waste directly in the kitchen at −5 °C. This neutralizes odors, prevents fruit flies, and makes waste separation in the household easier. The appliance, with a 7-liter usable volume and weighing only 8 kg, uses compressor cooling with the refrigerant R600a and can be integrated into kitchens as a freestanding unit, retrofitted, or as a complete waste system; it is compatible with waste systems from various manufacturers. Industrialization was carried out together with manufacturing partner V-ZUG, and sales target private households as well as kitchen studios in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. In addition to consulting and sales, the company offers spare parts service, warranty processing, and shipping via logistics partner Planzer. In May 2026, the FreezyBoy was awarded the German Innovation Award in two categories in Berlin.
