Frei Fördertechnik AG (FFAG) is a general contractor based in Rubigen (BE) that has been implementing customized systems for conveying technology, plant engineering, intralogistics and automation for over 55 years. Its range of services includes consulting and engineering, simulation services, process engineering, production and assembly as well as service and maintenance including a 24-hour emergency service. In its own manufacturing facility in Rubigen, the company produces structural steel and sheet-metal constructions as well as complex custom fabrications – with separate production for steel and stainless-steel products, laser cutting, bending, guillotine shearing, sandblasting and surface coating. Customers come from the construction materials and recycling, food, piece goods, industrial, biomass power plant, track maintenance as well as animal feed, sugar, brick, paper, wood, aluminium and chemical industries. Around 135 employees, including 11 apprentices, as well as 12 assembly teams and service vehicles ensure the implementation and operation of systems at home and abroad.
