Freiberger EuroMetall GmbH, founded in 2013, is a fully privately owned company based in Freiberg (Saxony) specialising in the manufacture and distribution of coin blanks for circulation coins. Production takes place on a state-of-the-art production line with highly efficient blanking tools into which the latest developments in plant engineering have been incorporated, resulting in particularly resource-efficient production. Material selection is independent and tailored to each customer's requirements, with a complete product range of coin blanks. Every single blank undergoes quality control in the company's own, fully equipped laboratory before delivery. The company's own wastewater treatment plant removes heavy metals and environmentally harmful chemicals from process wastewater before it is discharged into the sewer system; the resulting sludges are fed into metal recycling. The company is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and builds on an over 800-year-old tradition of coin manufacturing in the Freiberg region.
