Frenzel Competence GmbH is a medium-sized family business with over 65 years of company history, headquartered in Obersulm-Sülzbach near Heilbronn. With 30 employees, the company manufactures standard products such as galley kitchens, vending systems, refrigerators, coffee machines, hot water units as well as tables and seats for coach, scheduled-service, long-distance and minibus applications, and also carries out individual conversions of buses, vans and motor homes. Manufacturing includes 5-axis CNC woodworking, CNC machining of sheet-metal parts, thermoforming of PVC and ABS films, painting, upholstery and saddlery work, electrical and refrigeration assembly, as well as 3D printing and in-house mould and tool making. Materials used include wood, mineral material, stainless steel, aluminium, carbon and plastics. The company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1996 and supplies bus manufacturers and fleets throughout Europe; in addition, it offers customer service, repair, maintenance and on-site service. In the medical technology field, Frenzel has been manufacturing refrigerated furniture since 1990, such as climate containers for whole blood donations as well as refrigeration and freezer units for blood supplies and blood plasma.
