About Frenzelit

Frenzelit GmbH is an independent family-owned company headquartered in Bad Berneck (Bavaria) and has been developing materials and products for demanding industrial applications since 1881. The portfolio includes sealing materials and gaskets (among others based on graphite, mica, PTFE and fibers), high-temperature-resistant technical textiles for thermal, acoustic and electrical insulation, customized fabric, elastomer, rubber and steel expansion joints for plant engineering, as well as the hicoTEC composite platform with heating films, LFT materials and carbon nonwovens. Manufacturing is carried out with a high level of in-house value creation: calendering, wet-laid and needle-felt processes, dispersion and screen printing technologies, die-cutting of elastomers and metal, finishing and coating, milling of molded parts, as well as design using CAD and 3D simulation. Customers include machinery and plant engineering, the power plant and process industries, chemicals, the steel and glass industries, automotive and rail vehicle construction, shipbuilding, and future fields such as hydrogen technology, e-mobility and fire protection. With more than 600 employees at five production and sales locations in Germany, the Czech Republic, India and the USA, Frenzelit supplies customers in over 65 countries.
