About MERAY
The Fresh Nuts GmbH (MERAY) is a food manufacturer headquartered in Hamburg with production facilities in Bad Oldesloe (Germany) and Gaziantep (Türkiye). Founded in 1978 by Mehmet Kılıç, the company processes and roasts nuts and kernels such as pistachios, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts and sunflower seeds. The product range also includes coffee (beans, ground coffee, mocha), tea, chips, corn and nacho products, wafer snacks (Chocray) as well as fruit gum and marshmallow products (Jelly). Production takes place in its own integrated facilities: since 2012 in Gaziantep, since 2015 in Bad Oldesloe, complemented by a coffee facility (2018) and a corn processing facility under the name Global Corn (2022). MERAY supplies retail chains, wholesalers and the hospitality industry and, according to its own statements, is present in more than 50 countries. Communication is available in German, English and Turkish.
