About Frey Sondermaschinen
Frey Sondermaschinen is an owner-managed family business with nine employees based in Kandel in the Palatinate region. The core product is the BRS-1500 pretzel-twisting machine, which has been developed, manufactured and sold since around 1998 and is now in its 4th development stage (generation). With just one operator, the machine twists up to 1500 pretzels per hour and processes doughs in the weight range of 60 to 180 g with strand lengths of 320 to 700 mm, depending on equipment. It is available in Mini, Compact and Standard variants. In addition to its standard product, the company develops and manufactures special machinery and custom solutions for various industrial and trade sectors, in particular for bakeries, in-house bakeries and the food industry. The offering includes individual connections to upstream machines such as dough-head machines or proofing cabinets via trough and steep belts, special feed belts for ceiling, machine or proofing cabinet mounting, and adaptation of shape and weight to customer requirements. Documentation and communication are available in German and French.
