About Friedrich GmbH
Friedrich GmbH from Grünhain-Beierfeld in the Erzgebirge manufactures stainless steel formed parts at the highest technical level, in particular components for visible surfaces (Class-A parts) for customers with high visual demands. The company, with more than 50 employees, develops and builds deep-drawing, progressive-die and transfer tools and produces sheet metal formed parts on these tools down to wall thicknesses below 0.5 mm. Further competencies include tool-free incremental sheet forming (IBU) for prototypes and small to medium batch sizes as well as software-supported simulation of deep-drawing processes and the reworking of existing forming tools. Customers include companies from the sanitary, kitchen, electrical and furniture industries, the lifestyle sector, the automotive and musical instrument industries, medical technology as well as architecture and design. Under its own brand acero, Friedrich produces disinfectant columns and disinfectant dispensers made of brushed stainless steel. Cooperations exist, among others, with C.A. SEYDEL SÖHNE, Zehnder Pumpen, MSM Hänel and Demmel AG.

Materials and Processes
Stainless steel
Main material for formed parts for visible surfaces (Class-A parts) with the highest demands on appearance and surface.
Aluminium
Material for seamed, precise visible parts such as vehicle emblems, manufactured with 2-fold transfer tools.
Steel
Material for toolmaking and delicate stamped parts, e.g. cable clamps accurate to a tenth of a millimetre.
Sheet and multi-material materials
Processed in incremental sheet forming for complex, resource-efficient components.
