Your paper and packaging experts since 1904

Friedrich Jahncke GmbH & Co. KG, based in Reinbek near Hamburg, is a fourth-generation family business that has been trading in paper and packaging since 1904 and manufacturing in-house for over 50 years. At its own plant in Reinbek, around 24 employees process roughly 1,000 tonnes of paper per year on twelve machines into more than 100 million paper bags; products include satchel bags, flat bags, snack bags, pointed paper cones as well as roll and sheet papers printed in the flexographic process with individual custom designs. The raw paper is sourced exclusively from the European region, predominantly Germany. In addition to its own production, the range comprises more than 20,000 items, including food packaging, carrier bags made from recycled paper or recycled PET, florist tissue papers, gift packaging and gastronomy supplies. Customers include grocery retail, bakeries, fish and delicatessen shops, the catering sector, floristry, garden centres and direct farm marketers, who are supplied predominantly in Northern Germany via the company's own logistics fleet.
