FRIEDRICH SCHARR KG is a Stuttgart family business founded in 1883, now in its fourth generation, with around 1.000 employees at 24 locations across Germany. In the SCHARR FLUID business division, the company produces lubricants under its own UNIL® brand for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industry – from hydraulic and gear oils to water-mixable coolants and food-grade lubricants – in its own mixing and filling plant in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. In addition, SCHARR distributes solvents and technical chemicals with a tank farm capacity of 1.500.000 liters in more than 40 tanks and its own vehicle fleet. SCHARR TEC plans, manufactures and erects industrial plants such as gas pressure regulating and metering stations (GDRM), LPG and gas mixing plants, conditioning plants, pipe networks and tank facilities as well as control cabinets and switchgear systems including migration, modernization and maintenance. Customers come from industries such as the metal industry, paper and pulp, automotive, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals and the food industry; more than 2.000 customers rely on the lubricant program.
