About Friedrichs Filtersysteme
FRIEDRICHS FILTERSYSTEME GMBH has been a full-range supplier in the field of industrial filtration for almost 50 years. The company was founded in 1975 in Cologne as a family business by Dipl.-Ing. Dieter Friedrichs with a patented, self-cleaning wire mesh (optimesh®) and moved two years later to Wassenberg, where the patented support body and gap filter technology (optigap®, precislot®) was also developed. From the 1980s onward, the company expanded its product range with fluidtech® duplex filters, deltaP® differential pressure indicators and oil mist separators for turbochargers and expanders. Today, Friedrichs manufactures filter media, filter elements, pipeline strainers, particulate filter systems, differential pressure indicators, oil mist separators, silencers and custom-made products — complemented by consulting, design, flow simulation, FEM calculation, glass fiber processing, pleating, sheet metal fabrication with laser and bending machines, as well as contract manufacturing. The products are used in industries such as oil/plastics/chemicals, paper, mining, power generation, marine, hydraulics as well as turbine and compressor construction and are delivered to over 70 countries. Since the end of September 2022, the company has been part of the Italian UFI Filters Group (UFI Filters Hydraulics).
