About Friessen
Friessen GmbH Kunststoff-Sinter-Technik is a Dortmund-based contract coater that has been dedicated to the surface coating of metallic materials for over 58 years. The company operates as a partner in the material preparation stage and protects metal workpieces against corrosion, chemical attack, mechanical wear, carbonation and chloride attack. The plastic coatings are applied using the fluidized-bed sintering process, employing fluidized-bed sinter tanks and corresponding plastic powders; even intricately shaped metal workpieces can be coated in this way. Depending on the shape and material properties of the workpiece, polyamide (Rilsan), polyethylene or epoxy resin is used. The range of services also includes chilled iron grit blasting, anti-corrosion primers with protective paint (LUXORAL Tauchprimer D20) as well as surface cleaning. Customers are predominantly drawn from metal processing and are supplied both nationally and internationally.
