frifag märwil ag is an independent Swiss company in the poultry sector with its headquarters and processing plant in Märwil in the canton of Thurgau. Since 1987, the company has been producing high-quality Swiss chicken and turkey meat, keeping all process steps in its own hands: the feed mix comes from the parent company Obermühle Boswil AG, the chicks hatch in Swiss hatcheries and are reared on Swiss farms according to high animal welfare standards (BTS for chickens, RAUS for turkeys). Slaughter, processing and packaging take place at the modern facility in Märwil under strict hygiene regulations and continuous internal and external controls, with seamless batch traceability down to the daily production run. Delivery is carried out with the company's own refrigerated vehicles and specialized transport companies throughout Switzerland. The corporate group also includes, among others, the subsidiary Natura Güggeli AG, a grill chicken chain with around 30 grill vehicles and more than 160 locations. Customers include gastronomy, butcher counters and retail.
