Frigotec GmbH, based in Landsberg (Saxony-Anhalt), has specialized since 1991 in the planning, manufacturing and installation of refrigeration systems for the fresh food sector. Its portfolio ranges from simple standard cold rooms to special systems in the megawatt range and includes transshipment cold rooms, CA/ULO and DCA long-term storage rooms, banana ripening chambers, rapid cooling, deep-freeze systems, blast freezers, humidification systems, Palistore, as well as air conditioning and climate test chambers for research and testing institutes. In addition, the company manufactures control cabinets and custom electronic controls. Systems are designed individually per customer and realized turnkey from a single source in close cooperation with partners; the use of robust, energy-efficient components and environmentally friendly refrigerants is a key focus. Customers include producers, cooperatives, wholesalers and retail groups, particularly in the fruit trade, in Germany and abroad.
