Tradition & Innovation since 1945
Frischhut GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of fittings for piping systems as well as custom cast products in ductile iron (spheroidal graphite iron) and grey cast iron. Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Pfarrkirchen (Bavaria), the company produces around 5,000 tonnes of cast products per year and employs approximately 150 staff. The cast products are manufactured in the company's own foundry in Neumarkt-Sankt Veit; at the Pfarrkirchen site, machining takes place in modern CNC machining centres, coating is applied using environmentally friendly fluidized-bed sintering or spray processes (Frischhut Epoxy, 2K-PUR high-solid paint), and assembly is also carried out there. The products are made from recycled material and using green electricity; a company-owned photovoltaic system with 836 kW output at the Pfarrkirchen site covers a significant share of the energy demand. The product portfolio includes flanged, socketed and KS fittings, PEZ fittings, repair products, irrigation hydrants, gaskets and special parts for drinking water, wastewater, irrigation, gas and pipeline repair. Since 1998, the focus has been on safe water supply; in 2022, Frischhut became part of the TRM Group. In addition to standard products, Frischhut offers custom special casting solutions, product consulting and on-site technical training.
