About us

Friskar GmbH, based in Weinsberg-Wimmental, is an engineering and system provider for special refrigeration applications. The company develops custom cooling concepts, in particular a patented, ultra-flexible mobile cold tent with which entire vehicles can be conditioned for testing at extreme temperatures down to –30 °C. In stationary use, for example in a conditioning hall, the system enables vehicle-specific temperature settings from –20 °C to +20 °C under identical ambient conditions. Thanks to a generator module, the system can be operated independently of the power grid; a special trailer facilitates transport. The cold tent is made of durable components and is designed for indoor and outdoor use; the entire module can be stowed in a compact box on a pallet. The team consists of engineers with hands-on experience in production, research and development. Customers come from vehicle testing as well as refrigeration and air-conditioning technology.
