About STIEFEL
Fritz Stiefel Industrie-Vertretungen GmbH is a mid-sized system provider in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic components with core competencies in hose technology, tube bending technology, cylinder technology, power unit construction and sub-assembly installation. The family business, founded in 1962 by Fritz Stiefel, is now run by the second generation. In hose assembly, over 6 million meters of hose are processed annually; in addition, 60,000 hydraulic cylinders are delivered each year. The tube bending technology encompasses CNC mandrel bending of pipes with diameters from 6 to 100 mm according to customer drawings, including tube end processing (VossForm, cutting ring, flaring), surface coating and laser marking. Hydraulic cylinders are manufactured as standard and custom designs with bores from 25 to 600 mm and strokes up to 6000 mm. The portfolio of services also includes an in-house test center, on-site installation service as well as Kanban and Just-in-Sequence logistics solutions. Customers come primarily from vehicle and mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and special machinery construction, and are supplied throughout Europe as well as in the USA, Asia and Brazil.
