About FRIZLEN
FRIZLEN is a manufacturer of power resistors headquartered in Murr, Baden-Württemberg. The owner-managed family business has been manufacturing resistor devices in the power range from 10 W to several 100 kW since 1914 and supplies customers worldwide – from SMEs to large corporations. The portfolio comprises tube-mounted fixed resistors, wire-wound rotary resistors (potentiometers), encapsulated flat resistors, load and test resistors, finned fixed resistors and steel-grid fixed resistors in six product groups (T100 to T600). Manufacturing takes place exclusively at the company headquarters in Murr, including in-house sheet metal fabrication and enclosure construction; materials include stainless steel 1.4301 and 1.4404, galvanized and painted sheet steel, anodized aluminum and PTFE. Fields of application are drive technology, energy technology (wind power, photovoltaics, power plants, grid technology), mechanical and plant engineering, power electronics, test and laboratory technology, crane technology and logistics, marine technology, mobile machinery and medical technology. The resistor devices are used in over 60 countries; more than 150 employees develop and manufacture customer-specific solutions from consulting and design through to manufacturing and export handling.
