About Fröling
Fröling Heizkessel- und Behälterbau Ges.m.b.H. is an Austrian family business founded in 1961, headquartered in Grieskirchen, and a manufacturer of wood and biomass heating systems. The product range includes log, wood-chip, pellet and combination boilers in an output range of 7 to 1,500 kW, complemented by buffer tanks, hot-water and solar storage tanks, storage room discharge and filling systems as well as a wood power plant (CHP). Manufacturing takes place in the company's own plants in Austria and Germany: the Stritzing plant comprises a sheet steel processing centre, production and final assembly of the heating boilers, a goods logistics centre covering 12,000 m² and a biomass heating plant with a test rig for endurance testing; the Marzahna plant (Germany) specialises in tank construction for storage systems and heat exchanger systems. The main material used is sheet steel. Fields of application range from single-family homes to agriculture and municipal buildings, gastronomy and hotels through to industry and local/district heating. With around 1,000 employees and an export share of over 80%, Fröling supplies European markets as well as the USA.
