Fröschl Beton Tyrol
Fröschl Beton GmbH & Co KG operates a ready-mix concrete plant in the Innsbruck Rossau district, which has been producing concrete for construction sites in Innsbruck and the surrounding area since 1974. The plant produces ready-mix concrete and special concrete in every required strength class. The raw materials are aggregates (gravel and sand), cement and water; additives such as fly ash or colour pigments as well as admixtures such as superplasticizers allow targeted adjustment of appearance and technical properties. Production takes place via a digitally controlled tower plant with a double-shaft mixer and pan mixer, in operation since 2019, which achieves a maximum hourly output of 160 m³ with 2.5 m³ mixing capacity per batch. Fresh concrete is delivered to the construction site with the company's own concrete mixer trucks; self-collectors benefit from fast parallel loading. Concrete residues and return water are processed in a recycling plant and returned to the production process. An in-house laboratory monitors the quality of every batch and of the delivered raw materials.

Additional services
Quality control
An in-house laboratory tests every concrete batch: after curing, specimens are subjected to a concrete strength and compressive strength test. The delivered raw materials gravel, sand and cement are also checked by the laboratory upon delivery.

Company history
- 1974
Construction of the concrete plant in Innsbruck Rossau to support the construction projects of the 1976 Winter Olympics.
- 2018
On 9 November, the old plant produced its last concrete batch; subsequently demolition including dismantling of the approximately 100-tonne aggregate silo with two mobile cranes.
- 2019
In early February, lifting of the new 135-tonne material silo with a 750-tonne mobile crane; in mid-March, the new concrete mixing plant type IV-600 went into operation.
