About FROLYT
FROLYT Kondensatoren und Bauelemente GmbH develops and manufactures aluminum electrolytic capacitors in Freiberg (Saxony) in axial, radial, SMD, Snap-In and Press-Fit formats. The capacitors are specified for temperatures from -55 °C to 150 °C, shock and vibration resistance up to 30 g (3 axes) and lifetimes of over 40,000 hours at 105 °C; AEC-Q200-qualified types for automotive applications are available on request. In addition, the company produces low-ohmic precision resistors as wire and band shunts with tolerances of ±3 to 10 % for switching power supplies, frequency inverters, automotive, charge current regulators and measuring instruments. Complementing this, FROLYT offers special machinery construction with assembly systems, test systems (Cognex), punching and packaging units as well as robot and camera technology, including control cabinet construction and control programming (Siemens TIA/Step-7). Further business areas are individual DC power supply concepts with cable sizing up to 300 mm² including assembly and commissioning at the customer's site, as well as reel cutting and kitting of capacitors (reflow soldering, automatic insertion, pin-in-paste). The company has existed for almost 80 years and manufactures 100 % in Germany.

Quality
All FROLYT types are RoHS-compliant and REACH-registered; AEC-Q200-qualified electrolytic capacitors for automotive are delivered on request, and further certifications such as UL, VDE or MIL-STD are available depending on the series. In special machinery construction, industrial camera systems from Cognex are used for quality assurance and position detection.
