About the Fromberger Group
Founded in 1960, Fromberger GmbH is a family-owned company located on the Rhine-Herne Canal at DUISPORT, Europe's largest inland port in Duisburg. The heart of the group is grinding and processing technology: raw materials and bulk goods are milled, crushed, screened, sorted, dried and packaged – including ores, minerals, alumina and magnesite. In addition, the company offers warehousing on 110,000 m² of space including halls, open-air areas and silos, material handling of dry, wet and dusty bulk goods as well as general cargo, and transport with its own fleet of 20 trucks, especially silo transports. The group also includes a general cargo warehouse operated by Fromberger Industrielogistik GmbH (approx. 8,000 m²), the trading of ores, minerals and secondary raw materials, and the conceptual project development of processing processes. An overarching quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and an in-house laboratory ensure process quality.
