About Fronius
Fronius International GmbH is an Austrian family-owned company headquartered in Pettenbach (Upper Austria) with around 6,500 employees worldwide. The company manufactures welding technology (manual and automated MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding systems, including CMT and LaserHybrid processes), photovoltaic inverters, battery storage systems and battery charging systems for industrial trucks and AGVs. Series production of welding systems, solar inverters and battery charging systems has taken place since 2007 at the Sattledt production and logistics site; welding torch manufacturing is also carried out at the company headquarters in Pettenbach. The portfolio is complemented by software solutions (WeldCube, Solar.web), consulting and manufacturing services in its own prototype and production center, an international Repair Center and training courses. Customers include industries such as structural steel construction, automotive, industrial truck technology and photovoltaics. Fronius is represented by 36 international subsidiaries and supplies more than 60 countries via representatives.

Materials and Processes
Steel
Target material of the MIG/MAG welding systems, in particular with over 240 optimised characteristic curves for structural steel construction.
Aluminium
Welded using pulsed arc and CMT process; the DeltaSpot system enables spot welding of aluminium car bodies in large-scale production.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is processed especially in combination with the pulsed arc of the Fortis series.
