About Frontgas
Frontgas GmbH is a company specialising in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), based in Brilon in the Hochsauerland region. According to its own statements, more than 30,000 autogas systems have been installed in its master-certified workshop, including over 25,000 passenger car conversions – from small cars and direct-injection vehicles to V8 classic cars. Conversions are carried out in accordance with ECE R115 with TÜV registration; in addition, the company prepares emissions reports (EAB) and verifies R115 approvals against a database of more than 10,000 model records. For motorhomes and caravans, Frontgas offers camping conversions with permanently installed gas tanks (underfloor or wheel-arch mounted) as well as ALUGAS TravelMate aluminium gas cylinders including TÜV acceptance. A dedicated dynamometer enables engine performance measurements, and a B2B online shop with login supplies trade and workshop customers with LPG systems, tanks, valves and accessories. Documented conversions exist for manufacturers such as Hymer, Knaus, Weinsberg and Eura Mobil.
