Frost-Import GmbH is a family business founded in 1978 in Boppard near Koblenz and today run by the second generation as an owner-managed company. From its production facility in Halle (Saale), the company supplies food retail, wholesale and industry with frozen fruit and vegetable ranges. The product spectrum comprises single, mixed and ready-made products based on fruit and vegetables; production has been carried out at its own plant since 1992. The refinement of the frozen fruit range takes place in a specially developed and protected process with various coating processes, which is intended to ensure consistently high product quality. New customer-specific ranges are developed on request and production is aligned accordingly to customer requirements. Quality is checked by in-house and independent food laboratories from goods receipt through production to goods dispatch; long-standing certifications under BRC, IFS and ISO 9001 complement the quality management. The company's registered office has been located in Leipzig since 2009.
